Hi everyone! I bet you all can’t wait to hear all about the issues and misfortunes that I endured this week…
I’m glad you all decided to read my post in hopes of hearing some juicy stories, but unfortunately, we are not talking about my week from hell- we are talking about yours.
When it comes to pursuing your dreams or doing anything in general, most of you are very excited and determined. All you can think about is getting started and making it happen! You create all of your plans, figure out how you’re going to implement those plans, and then you prepare to execute without a second thought in your mind.
However, it isn’t always that cut and dry.
You may wake up on a Sunday morning, full of ambition and excitement about your goals for the upcoming week. You sit down and plan out how you want everything to go and then when the week starts everything goes the opposite of how you thought it would, and it doesn’t get any better as the week goes on. Plans start to backfire, and as a result you become frustrated and angry.
Don’t give up.
You have all had your week from hell one time or another in your life, and it can be really frustrating, disappointing, and discouraging. Sometimes, things get hard and, sometimes, and you feel like you’re running dead into a brick wall over and over and over again. However, keep pursuing your dreams, goals, or whatever it is you’re trying to achieve. Life is going to happen. Things are not always going to work out perfectly and on your own terms. Plans are going to fail, you are going to make mistakes, and people are going to let you down. However, don’t let this hold you back.
In other words, don’t let your failures show you what you did wrong, but what to do next. Learn from the things that happened, and use them to help you better achieve your goals and make your plans for success. Failures do not have to always be bad. With mistakes comes learning, with learning comes growth, and with growth comes new ideas and new ambitions. This week, I challenge you to not let failures, or mistakes phase you, but fuel you with the desire, determination, and direction you need to continue to pursue your dreams successfully.
Remember, you don’t have to be average, you can be extraordinary. You don’t have to be a rock, you can be a diamond.
